บริษัท (อังกฤษ: company) หมายถึงองค์กรธุรกิจชนิดหนึ่ง เป็นการรวมกลุ่มหรือการรวบรวมปัจเจกบุคคลและ/หรือบริษัทอื่น ผู้ซึ่งเป็นหุ้นส่วนร่วมลงทุนก่อตั้งบริษัท บุคคลกลุ่มนี้มีความมุ่งประสงค์หรือจุดสนใจร่วมกัน และมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อแสวงหาผลกำไร การรวมกลุ่มเช่นนี้สามารถกระทำได้ภายใต้กฎหมาย และตัวบริษัทเองนั้นก็จะถือว่าเป็นนิติบุคคล (legal person) ชื่อของบริษัทก็จะถูกตั้งขึ้นเพื่อใช้อ้างอิงแทนกลุ่มบุคคลเหล่านั้น
